Chisholm once again marked Shrove Tuesday with sales of pancakes and cakes prior to school, at recess and lunchtime. Our Social Justice Committee did a great job in trying to help both mark the day and raise some dollars for Project Compassion.

Shrove Tuesday is a traditional day of using up all the sugar from the house, prior to the fasting period throughout Lent. Plenty of pancakes smothered in maple syrup, peanut butter and nutella made a tasty day. We wish to thank Mr Phillips and Mrs Ann Lopez-Paterson together with all the Social Justice Committee students for their support and efforts on the day.
