On Monday 24 October, the Annual Sports Award Night was held in the Brother Olly Pickett Recreation Centre, where over 100 talented athletes were recognised for their sporting achievements from throughout the year.
The students and their families were very privileged to meet our special guest on the evening, West Coast Eagles player, Oscar Allen, who spoke about his journey to becoming a professional athlete.

A big congratulations to the 2022 Senior Sportsperson of the Year, receiving the Peter James Tonkin award for outstanding sporting achievement and leadership this year – Macy Marshall.
Also, many congratulations to Jaymie Lutton who received her ACC Letters award in 2022 for an outstanding achievement in Swimming over the past four years being chosen as an ACC All-Star each year. A wonderful achievement and the highest honour that the ACC can give to students in their fields.
Thank you to all the staff who assisted with Sports Night making it an evening to remember. Special mention to all of the amazing PE staff who have worked tirelessly throughout the year to deliver our amazing sporting programmes which are the envy of many schools. Thank you to all the students who were a part of our sporting programmes this year, whether you received an award or not, your commitment, dedication, representation and sportsmanship was admirable. I look forward to 2023 as we begin again in our Summer NAS and ACC Swimming competitions.
