Jason Vettoor (Year 7) was honoured on Thursday 28 October when he was awarded first prize in the Youth division of the City of Rockingham Creative Writing Awards. Jason’s story ‘Wipeout’ was judged as the most outstanding entry in the 12-17 age group. Given that Jason is still only 12, this is an amazing achievement. Jason has won a cash prize, receives a writing mentorship and has had his story published. We are all thrilled for him.
