It was a great privilege to introduce our 2025 Prefects and Assistant Prefects to the Chisholm community and officially induct them into their leadership roles after Wednesday’s Opening Mass. With much confidence and pride, our Assistant Prefects introduced the Year 12 Prefects to the school.
Head Prefects, Maia Securo and Declan Carlson, warmly welcomed the Year 7s, offered encouragement to the Year 12s and pledged their commitment to “uphold the College’s Values and build upon the legacy left by those who came before us.” The Student Leaders promised to serve the needs of the College community through active participation, positive role modelling and representing the College with integrity.
Our Student Leaders have already been embracing their responsibilities with enthusiasm, dedication and passion. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to them and wish them every success in the year ahead.
In addition to the Prefect roles, Chisholm offers many other leadership opportunities. The Year 11 Peer Support Leaders and the Year 8-12 Chisholm Ministers were also introduced to our College on Wednesday. Over the coming weeks, Year 7-12 House Representatives will be elected and will join one of the Student Committees. On Thursday 27 February, Mrs Zimarino and the Student Wellbeing Committee will host a sign-up session for all students interested in joining a committee and learning more about the accompanying responsibilities.
