Last Friday, the Student Leaders gave up a day during the summer break to attend their Planning Day on campus. Below is the report from Lydia, the Community Relations Prefect.
“To commence the Student Leaders’ Planning Day, we focused on the importance of participation and enthusiasm when trying to strengthen House Spirit. Led by Chisholm’s former Head Boy, Ronan McGinniss, from GRIP Leadership, we reflected upon what we had learnt at the Student Leaders’ Camp as well as revising upon the goals we set for ourselves for the upcoming year. We also covered the importance of being realistic with expectations and how to achieve goals that may seem impossible. Once joined by our House Leaders, we delved into the culture within our Houses and ways in which this can be prioritised and improved over the coming year. After a quick lunch break, we moved into our Houses where we discussed upcoming events and preparations necessary to achieve success within these areas.
We would like to extend our gratitude to Ronan McGinniss, Mrs Fiona Millimaci for her leadership and guidance and the House Leaders who joined us for the day and are actively supporting us to reach our potential over the coming year.”
