We are thrilled to share some outstanding news from the 2025 Australian Age Championships, held at the iconic Brisbane Aquatic Centre.

Congratulations to Year 9 student, Isaac Iaschi, who delivered an incredible performance in the 200m Breaststroke, achieving a series of remarkable milestones!

Isaac swam an exceptional race, winning his heat with a commanding 4-second lead and setting a new personal best time of 2:34.61- an impressive improvement of 8.5 seconds. His stellar effort earned him 15th place nationally and 2nd place within Western Australia.

In addition to these achievements, Isaac swam under the national qualifying times for both the 15 and 16-year-old age groups, a significant accomplishment that reflects his dedication and hard work. This was Isaac’s first experience competing on the national stage, and it has given him valuable insight and motivation for an exciting future in the sport.

We are so proud of Isaac’s achievements and can’t wait to see what he accomplishes next. Congratulations, Isaac!
