In a momentous achievement that speaks volumes about the dedication and mathematical prowess of our students, we are thrilled to announce the outstanding results of the recent Australian Mathematics Competition. An impressive 49 students have received the prestigious “Distinction” Certificate, showcasing their exceptional mathematical problem-solving abilities. Furthermore, we are delighted to shine a spotlight on four outstanding students who have achieved the coveted “High Distinction” status, demonstrating their extraordinary aptitude for mathematical thinking. Special congratulations to Finian Jordan who topped our school with an amazing result finishing in the top 1% of students worldwide.

These students have not only excelled but have also showcased their potential to tackle complex mathematical challenges. Their remarkable achievement reflects the commitment of both the students and their educators, our wonderful Mathematics Teachers at Chisholm, who have been instrumental in nurturing their mathematical talents.

We must also acknowledge and extend our heartfelt gratitude to the teachers in charge, Ms Julie Campbell who played a pivotal role in organising this competition.
