On Tuesday evening, many of our Year 7 students and their mums came together for a wonderful Time & Space evening, designed to strengthen connection and communication during the important transition into adolescence.

We were privileged to welcome Bill Jennings, founder of the Time & Space programme, who shared valuable insights into the joys and challenges of growing up, including the important process of gradually letting go while maintaining strong family connections.

Our fantastic Year 11 students also played an important role as mentors, facilitating small-group discussions and helping create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.

The evening provided a valuable opportunity for mums and children to pause, talk and listen to one another. The feedback says it all:

“I was able to say things to my mum that I wouldn’t normally get the chance to talk about.”

A big thank you to Bill, our Year 11 mentors, PEG for preparing the sausage sizzle and all the families who embraced the evening and made it such a meaningful experience.
