This World Teachers’ Day, we join schools across Australia in celebrating the theme “Shine a Light on Teachers.” It is an opportunity to recognise the dedication, care and professionalism of the staff who make a difference in the lives of our students every day.

We also acknowledge the many non-teaching staff whose contributions are essential to the life of our school. From education assistants, finance, administration and library staff to ICT, maintenance, grounds and support staff, each person plays a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment.

As a Catholic community, we are grateful for all who serve our students with generosity, compassion and commitment. Thank you for the countless ways you help our young people learn, grow and flourish.

Happy World Teachers’ Day to all our staff.
