Year 10 House Representative Induction

March 12, 2026

On Wednesday 11 March, our Year 10 House Representatives were presented to their cohort and invited guests. I would like to congratulate the following Year 10s on their leadership role for 2026: Phillip Rologas, Tony Di Virgilio, Jayden Chung, Alexi Di Dio, Aiden Lehn, Mia Levings, Oscar Durack, Ethan Vu, Bryce Mansfield, Kendra Pelka, Tiah Luca and Lilly Emselle.

Whilst we acknowledged these 12 leaders during the Induction Ceremony, I also reminded all students in the Year Group that they too, are leaders. Along with Caroline Chisholm and other mentors in their lives, all students need to use these fine examples of leadership as inspiration for their own journey.

I reminded all Year 10s that our College’s Vision – what we wish for our students upon graduating from this College and into the future – calls for all students to be leaders…” We aspire to form courageous leaders who strive to be their best and challenge society to make present God’s desire for humanity.”

Our Year 10 students were asked to reflect on how they are all called to lead within our community. The “Community with Christ” that we began building together in Year 8 needs leaders – leaders who were then challenged and stepped up throughout Year 9, who made courageous choices, and who consistently displayed behaviours that were ‘above the line’.

These leadership skills were strengthened during the Year 9 Camp, and now it’s time to live them out daily, by committing to getting the little things right, lifting one another and continuing to grow into the people God created them to be.

Being a leader means doing the right thing when no one is watching…“ When I have integrity, my words and actions match. I am the same person no matter where I am or who I am with.”
