Year 10 Immunisations will be held on Monday 26 May and Tuesday 27 May in the Graham Cooney Centre (J Block).
Keenan, Laurence and O’Sullivan students are scheduled for Monday and Prendiville students are scheduled for Tuesday. Students who are being immunised are permitted to wear their House Uniform on that day.
Students will assemble in PCGs in J02 at their allocated time (students are aware of the schedule) and those who have registered consent will receive their immunisation before going back to class. Students who are not being immunised will attend class.
Year 10 students will be receiving the Meningococcal ACWY vaccine to protect against four strains of the disease. Meningococcal spreads easily and older teenagers have some of the highest rates of infection.
