This week our Year 10 students commenced the 2027 Year 11 subject selection process by participating in their My Future Day. Students had the opportunity to: hear from guest speakers about some of the keys to success in Year 11-12 and beyond; explore subject and career options; and submit a “first draft” of their Year 11 subject selections. 

It was wonderful to observe the level of enthusiastic engagement our Year 10 students displayed, as they explored and considered the range of pathways available to them. There was great energy through the day highlighted by the enthusiastic reception for one of our guest speakers, former student Justin Merendino. Staff were reminded that we are fortunate we get to work with such an impressive cohort of students who are a credit to their families and our community. 

Students can now look forward to the Chisholm Career Expo on Wednesday 24 June to further their pathway planning and launch positively into the formal subject selection process early in Term 3.
