Our Year 11/12 Senior students got the chance to play their NAS competitions on Monday 26 June in the one-day carnival format. Chisholm students had a wonderful day of competition with some excellent performances.

The Netball A and B teams dominated their competition and cruised to Premierships with some excellent Netball all day. The A team will now progress into Round 16 of the ACC Championship next term. Their opponents will be Kennedy Baptist College with a date for the game to be confirmed.

The Girls Badminton and Boys Volleyball also secured Premierships after tough competition.

We had a number of teams finish as runners up and were unlucky not to pick up first place. The Girls Soccer lost out on goal difference to Sacred Heart and our Boys team came up against a strong Servite team to finish second.

In the ACC Championship for Soccer only the first place Girls team progress, whereas in the Boys, it’s the first and second place teams. Thus, whilst our Girls lost out on goal difference, the Boys team will now play a Round 16 fixture against Carey Harrisdale early in Term 3.

Our Football team scored an early win against Servite and were unfortunate to lose to John XXIII with a goal after the siren but played determined and well organised Football all day.

Thank you to all our senior students for representing Chisholm and I hope to see our ACC Athletics programme being supported in the same way.
