While our Year 11 Career and Employability students were not sitting exams over the past two weeks, they were undertaking an important assessment designed to prepare them for the workforce.

Students were required to locate a genuine job vacancy that they could realistically apply for at the end of Year 12. They then developed a tailored cover letter and résumé, addressing the specific requirements outlined in the advertisement.

The final stage of the assessment was a formal interview. We were fortunate to have Mrs Melinda Ballantyne and Mrs Margaret Jones conduct interviews with each student, providing valuable feedback on their preparation, presentation, communication skills and punctuality.

We congratulate all students on their efforts and the professionalism they demonstrated throughout this process.
