On Monday and Tuesday this week, Federal Police Agent, Mr Steve Proud, spoke to the Year 11 Religious Education General Classes about the social issue of Human Trafficking. The students are studying social issues in Religious Education this term.
Steve’s role in the Australian Federal Police is dealing with human trafficking. Steve spoke firsthand about real-life scenarios that he has experienced and how the Australian Federal Police respond to these issues in our state and even locally in our suburbs. His presentation was informative, insightful and very valuable to our students’ studies. On behalf of the College, we thank him for his time and effort.
