The Sportsperson Awards are awarded to the students in each year group who have participated and achieved in sport throughout the year, often across a wide variety of sports.

It is calculated based on participation, awards won, special performances and even leadership for their chosen sport.

Congratulations to Year 11 students Thomas Gough and Ruby Lam for being awarded Sportspersons of this year group.

Ruby is also receiving three extra Athletics awards that were presented earlier this week at assembly but unfortunately Ruby was absent.

1. Chisholm ACC Athletics medallion – presented to the student in Year 11 who scored the most points at the ACC ‘A’ Division Carnival for Chisholm
2. Chisholm ACC Athletics Coaches medallion – a prestigious award which is presented to any student in Years 7-12 who truly displays the College Values and shows an outstanding dedication to training and preparation for sport
3. Ruby is also waiting to receive an Athletics award from the ACC, as she was awarded the title of “‘A’ Division U19 Champion Female Athlete” scoring the most points for female athletes in the ‘A’ Division carnival.
