Year 11 Students at the 2025 eV Challenge

November 6, 2025

Year 11 students showcased their innovation and teamwork at the 2025 eV Challenge, held at the Cockburn International Go Kart Track. Competing against a strong field of schools from across the state, the team finished confidently in 11th place in the senior event.

The eV Challenge encourages students to design, build and race their own electric vehicles, applying STEM principles in a hands-on, competitive environment. This year, Chisholm’s team focused on developing a new, predictable and reliable vehicle, highlighting their creativity and engineering expertise.

Their outstanding efforts were recognised with the award for 1st Place – Best Engineered New Vehicle Entry, a remarkable achievement that reflects the students’ dedication, problem-solving ability and passion for sustainable engineering.
