On Thursday afternoon, Year 12 students and their fathers/father figures came together to celebrate the unique role a father plays in shaping the life of a child. It was wonderful to have so many fathers join us for a delicious afternoon tea so beautifully prepared by our Canteen Staff and served by the Assistant Prefects. There were games to be played including giant jenga and cornhole. There was a ‘selfie rally’ which was won by Lola Vecchio and her grandad, Dominic, and even a best dad joke competition, won by Sienna Blanchard’s dad, Dean. 

Students and their fathers could have their photo taken with our special Father’s Day polaroid frame (made by Year 12 PCA – Mr Williams) as well as spot themselves in the photo display which was prepared by Mrs Collins and Mrs Iacusso and carefully put together by Mr Mamotte and the Community Relations Committee. 

It was a fantastic afternoon that I hope will hold a special place in the memories of our Year 12s high school experience.
