On Thursday, Year 12s and their fathers gathered to enjoy an afternoon tea to celebrate Father’s Day. There was food and drink, so carefully prepared by Mrs Monterosso and the canteen staff which was enjoyed by all who attended. 

The Community Relations Committee led by Mr Mammotte, worked hard to decorate the Canteen Quad for the occasion and the Assistant Prefects served our guests throughout the afternoon.

Our Year 12s and their fathers participated in a ‘Selfie Scavenger Hunt’ which had their competitive sides on display. Well done to Amelia Rostkowska and her father Dom who took first place in this game. The fathers also got to share their ‘Best Dad Joke’ in a competition. Congratulations to Monique Ward and her father Colin in taking the prize in this competition. 

It was a fantastic afternoon to celebrate the fathers and father figures in our students’ lives. Thank you to all the staff and students who made the event such a success.
