Year 12 Graduation Breakfast and Farewell Assembly

October 23, 2026

Our Year 12 Graduation Breakfast at Optus Stadium was a wonderful opportunity to come together and celebrate the Class of 2026 as they marked this significant milestone in their Chisholm journey.

A highlight of the morning was the much-anticipated Student Choice Awards, which brought plenty of smiles and laughter to the occasion. A sincere thank you to our House Representatives for their assistance in organising and presenting the awards, ensuring the focus remained on some light-hearted fun, shared memories and the unique personalities that make our Year 12 cohort so special.

It was a fantastic way to celebrate our graduating students, reflect on their journey and create a few more special memories before they take their next steps beyond Chisholm.

This year, Chisholm introduced a new concept for our Year 12 Farewell Assembly, creating a dedicated whole school occasion to celebrate and acknowledge the Class of 2026 as they approached the conclusion of their schooling journey.

Moving away from including the farewell as one component of a broader assembly allowed us to give this significant milestone the recognition it truly deserves. The assembly also provided an opportunity to increase the visibility of selected Year 12 special awards, celebrating the outstanding achievements, contributions and character of our graduating students in front of the wider College community.

Positioning the farewell closer to Graduation also enabled us to mark this important transition at a more fitting time, bringing our community together to recognise the Class of 2026, reflect on their Chisholm journey and wish them every success for the future.

In keeping with Chisholm tradition, our Year 7 students formed a Guard of Honour for the departing Year 12s, creating a memorable and heartfelt moment for the Class of 2026.
