On Monday, the Year 12 Materials Design Technology Textiles students participated in a sketching workshop with local Perth fashion designer, Karen Elizabeth Young. Karen shared her tips and tricks for designing clothing and creating sketches that bring design ideas to life. Students then had the opportunity to create a rendered sketch of a design they have created which they will sew next term. A working lunch provided by the Home Economics Department topped off a productive afternoon for all.
