On Tuesday, 16 Stellatus students from Years 7 and 8 visited the Literature Centre in Fremantle to attend a writing workshop run by the Talented Writer’s Collective. The guest author was H.M. Waugh, who has written books such as the Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) Award Winning Evacuation Road and the newly released Mars Awakens.

The students had an enriching experience learning about brainstorming techniques, basics of writing an engaging plot, using their unique voice in narrative and finding their fun in writing.
