On Wednesday, Chisholm Catholic College welcomed 301 eager Year 7 students, ready to embark on their high school journey. Excitement and a few nervous smiles filled the air as they took their first steps into Chisholm life.
Supporting them on the day were 72 dedicated Year 11 Peer Support Leaders, who played a key role in making the transition smooth and welcoming. Alongside them, the Year 7s spent the day with their 12 Pastoral Care Advisors, who provided guidance, reassurance and a friendly face as they navigated their first experiences of high school.
Throughout the day, students participated in team-building activities, familiarised themselves with the campus and set up their laptops for school use. One of the biggest challenges? Mastering the art of unlocking their lockers—a small but essential skill in high school life!
The energy, enthusiasm and resilience shown by our new students were truly inspiring. It was wonderful to see them embrace the challenges of their first day with positivity and determination. With such a strong start, we have no doubt that the Year 7 cohort of 2025 will thrive at Chisholm Catholic College.
We look forward to seeing them grow, learn and become an integral part of our school community. Welcome to Chisholm!
