On Wednesday 18 October, over 200 grandparents were welcomed to the College for a truly special event on the Year 7 calendar, Grandparents’ Morning. We recognised the important role that grandparents play in our lives, including favourite cook, storyteller and biggest cheerleader! We honoured all grandparents – those gathered and those who could not be with us on the day. The Year 7s brought their grandparents on a tour of various parts of the College, including a visit to the Practical and Creative Arts Exhibition, the Hospitality Centre and the Design and Technology classrooms. Grandparents were also treated to an outstanding performance by the Year 7 Band.

The morning culminated in a morning tea in the Canteen Quad. I thank all those who attended for taking the time to join us on such a special occasion and for letting the Year 7 in their life know that they value their time, education and learning. A huge thank you to the wonderful team of people who coordinated and organised the morning, allowing very special memories to be made.
