Year 7 Grandparents’ Morning

October 23, 2025

On Wednesday, we were delighted to welcome over 400 grandparents and special family members to our annual Grandparents’ Morning Tea. The event was held across two sessions, allowing our guests to experience a wonderful morning celebrating the Year 7 students and their first year at Chisholm Catholic College.

The morning began with a warm welcome and a musical performance by our talented Year 7 Band, who impressed everyone with their enthusiasm and growing musicianship. Guests were then treated to a special slideshow presentation, showcasing a collection of photos capturing the many moments and milestones our Year 7 students have shared throughout their first year at the College. It was heart-warming to see so many smiles and proud faces as grandparents recognised their grandchildren among the photos.

Following the presentation, guests were invited to take a guided tour of the College. This included a visit to the Practical and Creative Arts Exhibition, where the creativity and skill of our students were on full display. Grandparents were also able to explore other parts of the school, gaining a glimpse into the daily life and learning environment of their grandchildren.

The morning concluded with a delicious morning tea, generously prepared by our Canteen Staff. The opportunity for students and their grandparents to sit, share stories, and enjoy this time together was a highlight of the day.

It was truly a joy to see the College community come together in such a warm and meaningful way. We thank all the grandparents who joined us for this special occasion and we extend our gratitude to the staff and students who helped make the day such a memorable success.
