Year 7 House Representative Induction

March 19, 2026

On Wednesday 11 March, our Year 7s gathered to celebrate an important milestone for our newest secondary students at the Year 7 House Representative Induction Assembly. The event recognised students who have been selected to represent their Houses and begin their leadership journey within the College.

For these students, this is their very first leadership role at the College, making the occasion a particularly special and memorable one. Family members, staff and fellow students joined together to acknowledge their willingness to step forward and represent the voices of their peers.

During the Assembly, Mr Harvey addressed the students and spoke about what it means to be a true leader. He reminded them that leadership is not simply about wearing a badge or title, but about setting a positive example, listening to others, showing respect and supporting their House. Mr Harvey encouraged the students to lead with confidence, kindness and integrity as they take on this new responsibility.

The following students were officially inducted as Year 7 House Representatives: Grace Cox, Ifechukwu Victor (who prefers to be called Ifee), Penelope Nash, Surie Curioso, Ziah Lagura, Indigo Fardig, Zoe Alugbin, Michael Abou Rjeily, Makayla De Silva, Charlotte Emselle, Raffaele Parker and Rosie Burke.

Each student proudly received their House Representative badge as they were recognised for their commitment to serving their House and contributing positively to school life.

Being a House Representative is an important role within the College. These students will work alongside staff and fellow student leaders throughout the year to share ideas, represent their peers and help strengthen our school community.

We congratulate our newly inducted Year 7 House Representatives and look forward to seeing the leadership, initiative and enthusiasm they bring to their Houses throughout this semester.

Mrs Vicki Hinks
Head of Year 7
