The Year 7 Pastoral Care Retreat was held last Friday, marking a significant step in the students’ transition into the College Community. This day of faith experiences and orientation immersed students in the College’s rich culture and values, fostering a sense of belonging and commitment.

Under the guidance of Mr Williamson, the Year 7 Pastoral Care Advisors and Campus Ministry Staff, students engaged in an informative and aspirational programme that encouraged them to commit to personal qualities and habits which would allow them to enjoy and thrive at Chisholm. The Retreat featured several key milestones, including the first Year Group Mass and the learning of the College Anthem. The launch of Chisholm Care reinforced the College’s Values, while students immersed in their new House under the stewardship of staff and student House Leaders. The day concluded with the Year 7 Chant Competition, where Prendiville House emerged victorious, narrowly ahead of Laurence House in second position.

It was an enjoyable, memorable and meaningful day in terms of the students’ new journey as members of our College community.
