Year 7 students had the opportunity to hear from guest speaker, Jade Lewis, during PCP this week. Jade shared her personal story, reflecting on how the desire to impress others and fit in at school led her to make some poor choices.

Drawing on her experiences, Jade spoke about the dangers of vaping, what vapes contain and how these products are marketed to appeal to young people. She also provided students with practical strategies for saying no to peer pressure and highlighted where they can seek help and support if needed.

The session was informative and engaging, encouraging students to think carefully about their decisions, the influence of peer pressure and the importance of making choices that support their health and wellbeing.

We thank Jade for sharing her story and equipping our Year 7 students with valuable knowledge and strategies to help them make informed, positive choices.
