On Monday, our Year 7 cohort were involved in either NAS sport or social sports at the ACC Lightning Carnival.

Our NAS teams in Soccer, Football, Badminton, Netball and Volleyball all performed well on the day with our Boys and Girls Badminton teams, along with our Girls Soccer teams taking home Premierships after winning all their games.

Just over 120 students represented Chisholm in NAS, which meant that the remaining 180 students or so would take part in Social Soccer as part of the ACC Lightning Carnival with their PCAs and Head of Year in attendance.

I would like to pass on my thanks to all Year 7 PCAs and Mr Williamson for supporting our Year 7 students throughout the day. Boys and Girls teams had the opportunity to mix with students from a wide range of schools within the ACC with participation and enjoyment being at the forefront.

It was rewarding to see the many smiling, happy faces of students upon returning to school at the end of the day.

Well done to all our Year 7s for taking part in a very big day of sport, one that I hope would have been a positive and rewarding experience for all.
