On Monday 11 May, our Year 7 students got the chance to compete in our NAS Winter One Day Carnival for the first time.
Our NAS teams in Soccer, Football, Badminton, Netball and Volleyball all performed well on the day with our Girls Badminton team being undefeated in their competition. The students had been training for this since the end of Term 1 with trials and weekly training sessions.
Congratulations to all students who took part on the day and it was rewarding to see the many smiling, happy faces upon returning to school at the end of the day having played sport with great character throughout.
The motto of the Associated and Catholic Colleges WA (ACC), our sporting governing body, is to play sport “in the right spirit.” This was very evident on the day from Chisholm students.
Well done to all our Year 7 students for taking part in a very big day of sport, one that I hope would have been a positive and rewarding experience for all.
We now look forward to our ACC Cross Country Carnival on Thursday 28 May where our best runners from Years 7-12 will head to Alderbury Reserve in Floreat to represent Chisholm.

Director of Sport
