Last Friday evening, our Year 8 students gathered for a vibrant night of dancing, laughter and connection to celebrate the end of Term 3. Embracing the Red Carpet theme, many students arrived dressed as their beloved movie and television characters – from Top Gun pilots and Men in Black to childhood favourites like Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore, Paddington Bear and Teenager Ninga Turtles, bringing creativity and excitement to the occasion.
After entering through the exclusive ‘V.I.P. stage entrance’, students were treated to a pizza dinner and the chance to win prizes for best costume. The energy in the College Hall was electric, the dance floor was alive and it was clear that every student relished the experience.
A heartfelt thank you to all who contributed to the success of the evening. Special appreciation goes to our Deputy Principal – Year 8, Ms Taniya Rodrigues, and to Mrs Aimee Iacusso for their outstanding efforts in transforming the College Hall into a dazzling venue. Sincere thanks also to the Year 8 PCAs for their support and presence throughout the night.
