After the two one-day workshops in Term 2 and Term 3, the Year 9 students participated in the much anticipated three-day Into Adulthood camps. All camps were led by AdventureWorks WA and Chisholm staff at the Manjedal Activity Centre which took place from last Wednesday until today.
The students spent each day facing various challenges in their PCG gender groups and for many of them simply being away from home was a difficult undertaking. However, they also enjoyed the downtime from their normal College lives to chat with their friends, to have fun and to take time to reflect about their journey into adulthood and the kind of adult they want to be.
Sincere thanks are extended to Camp Coordinator Mr Sule Alagic and all Chisholm staff without whom the camps would not have been possible.
We look forward to welcoming all parents to the College on Monday evening at 6.30pm for the Homecoming ceremony with staff and students.
Mr Dion Rendall
Acting Head of Year 9
