Year 9 “Into Adulthood” Workshop 3

August 20, 2025

From Monday to Wednesday this week, our Year 9 students participated in their final “Into Adulthood” workshops, a key step in preparing them for the exciting challenges ahead.

Led by the talented facilitators from AdventureWorks WA, students tackled a series of Body, Heart and Head challenges designed to develop their ability to respond effectively in a variety of situations. Each day began with groups establishing a shared set of values, which became the guiding principles for how they worked together.

The workshops featured a wide range of activities that put teamwork, problem-solving and trust to the test, from building human pyramids and playing blindfolded Jenga, to solving tangram puzzles and taking on basketball shooting challenges. It was fantastic to see just how much each student engaged with the programme, and there’s already a real sense of excitement building for our Term 4 camp.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful PCAs, the additional staff who lent their support throughout the week and our incredible camp coordinator, Sule Alagic, your efforts make these experiences possible.
