2024 WACE Results

Congratulations to all 2024 Year 12 students on their remarkable academic achievements.

The dedication, hard work, and perseverance have truly paid off, and all students should be incredibly proud of their achievements. These results showcase the unwavering dedication and commitment of parents and college staff who have supported each student in discovering their potential.

This milestone marks the beginning of exciting new opportunities, and we hope our 2024 graduates keep striving for excellence and continue to reach for their dreams.

Some notable achievements include:

  • A total of 58 School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) awards:
    • Two Subject Certificates of Excellence
      – awarded to students who are in the top 0.5 per cent of candidates based on the examination mark
      Isabelle Doyle (English ATAR)
      Jennifer Le (Mathematics Methods ATAR)
    • 20 Certificates of Distinction
      – awarded to students who, in Years 11 and 12, achieve 190–200 points (points accrued from A and B grades and VET equivalents)
    • 36 Certificates of Merit
      – awarded to students who, in Years 11 and 12, achieve 150–189 points (points accrued from A and B grades and VET equivalents)
  • WACE achievement of 99.2%, placing Chisholm in the top 10 CEWA schools for WACE achievement
  • 26.9% of ATAR students achieved an ATAR of 90 or above with 4 students earning an ATAR of 99+
  • 2024 College Dux – Jennifer Le – 99.8 (highest ATAR)
  • 2024 College Proxime Accessit – James Robbins – 99.7 (second highest ATAR)
  • Three ATAR courses – Computer Science, Modern History, and Politics and Law – were placed in the top schools for ATAR courses – based on the percentage of students at each school who had Year 12 ATAR course combined scores in the top 15% of all students in that course
  • 13 out of 24 ATAR courses (54.2%) had a mean scaled score above the state mean scaled score
  • 13 668 Chisholm Care hours completed
  • 7 355 Workplace hours completed
  • 103 Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualifications completed as Certificate II, III or IV
  • Over 98% of students wishing to pursue university studies have been offered a place.
