On Tuesday morning, the Aboriginal Education Team visited Trinity College to connect with their Aboriginal Team and build community connections. We met with Mr Dustin Aylmore and all the Indigenous students in their morning PCG, where the students were making Aboriginal art drawings. We then went to the staffroom which overlooked the Derrbal Yerrigan and Optus Stadium. The meeting was very insightful and led us to arrange a day to play volleyball with Trinity and Mercedes Indigenous students. This will be a great opportunity for Chisholm’s Aboriginal students to get to know other Indigenous students outside of Chisholm’s programme whilst playing volleyball and we are looking forward to this excursion.
