A key part of our College’s Strategic and School Improvement Plan at this time is a review of our Curriculum and Structures around Teaching and Learning at Chisholm.

In the last two years, there have been various discussions about possible necessary changes to our curriculum offerings and their delivery at the College. Like many other secondary schools that are currently looking at this important aspect of planning for the future, we are examining what possibilities may suit our context best.

It is a challenging exercise but must happen to ensure that we are delivering the best education all round for our students and their future. Obviously, that challenge includes trying to maintain a broad offering of courses and opportunities (which Chisholm has always been renowned for) whilst delivering what we can actually manage in terms of resources such as staffing and facilities. We will certainly keep our families informed and seek feedback and input through appropriate channels as proposed changes emerge.
