The OLNA (Online Literacy and Numeracy Assessment) test period will occur from 15 – 26 June. Note that this is the start of Week 2.9, just after the Semester 1 examination period.
Students who are required to sit an OLNA test have received their individual OLNA timetable from their OLNA Success teacher this week (Year 11 and 12) or from Mrs Millimaci (Year 10). It includes the exact assessment dates, room and student information. This round of testing includes all Year 11 and 12 OLNA students, plus some Year 10 students who did not sit their first OLNA test at the end of Year 9.
Year 10-12 OLNA Numeracy students are strongly encouraged to attend OLNA Practice sessions during Homework Help on Mondays from 3:30-4:30pm, run by Chisholm Alumni who have excelled in their mathematical skills. This will continue over the exam period – remember to wear your College uniform when on campus during this time.
To prepare students for the types of questions they can expect and familiarise them with the online assessment platform, access is provided to practice example tests on a secure website. You can find a link to the practice and example tests on the Authority website under Years 11 and 12 > Assessment > OLNA > Practice and Example Tests. A link is also provided in the OLNA Information for Students:
