The dream of winning the Shield in 2025 is over. Unfortunately, Chisholm fell one game short, losing to Mazenod in the Semi Final last week. With the promise of a Grand Final appearance at the WACA, the team started well, restricting Mazenod to just 101 runs with Julian and Hamish both taking two wickets. Facing a quality bowling lineup, Chisholm succumbed without reaching the total set by Mazenod. It should be noted that the team are predominantly Year 11 students, therefore, they will have another opportunity next year to test themselves against the best cricket schools in the state.
